Beat his ass, he should get a decent cut as well for testing positive.
GGG Is Considering Pulling Out of Rematch vs Clenelo
Collapse

GGG has every right to pull out of this fight if he wants to. Canelo tested positive and GGG shouldn't have to go into the ring with someone that has tested positive.
If GGG decides not to fight it is Canelo's fault because he cheated.
I get we all have our favorites and the partisanship has made the site toxic and unbearable at times but this is something where all that should go out the window.
I am no GGG fan but right is right.Comment

Clenelo should have to pay Golovkin more money. Don't care if it's meat contamination, you poppedComment

Cancelling until September, with Canelo (and Golovkin) being regularly tested in the interim would be an excellent solution IMHO!
However, in reality, that is unlikely to happen and I also don't think that's what Golovkin wants either.
I also do not think Golovkin is seriously considering pulling out of May fight.
It's all just bluff and posturing, maybe to get some additional leverage or concessions; maybe just to try to play mind games with Alvarez?Comment

Another absolutely genius alternative idea I have is that now Canelo has been caught guilty using PED's he should have to be tested randomly year around and if he refuses then he should be banned for two years.Cancelling until September, with Canelo (and Golovkin) being regularly tested in the interim would be an excellent solution IMHO!

I'm sure a lot of guys are cycling like Canelo so the one's caught for PED's should be 100% year round because they will likely be back to PED's as soon as the fight is over until the next one is announced. If they are concerned about their opponent doing what they got caught doing then they should be the one's to pay for year round testing for the other guy.Last edited by chrisJS; 03-09-2018, 11:20 AM.Comment

The thread title is misleading. In the video the interviewer asked the question in the past tense and GGG answered in this context, but the thread title is written as present tense.Comment

Definitely, in addition to any other penalties imposed (bans, fines, etc.), those caught should definitely be subject to VADA 24/7/365 testing - at their own expense!Another absolutely genius alternative idea I have is that now Canelo has been caught guilty using PED's he should have to be tested randomly year around and if he refuses then he should be banned for two years.
