Tyson Fury signing with Matchroom?

If he signs with Hearn and fights Pulev, then Hearn has let him down as a promoter. He needs to look good in his comeback.. Pulev isn't a good fight for a comeback after nearly 3 years off. Tyson will look bad against Pulev if not even lose to him.. They're trying to promote AJ vs Tyson, if Tyson looks bad in his comeback no one will care for AJ Vs Tyson.. He needs a fight where he looks good. Expect his comeback to be a nobody.Comment

There's been another rumour going round for a couple days now that Fury has signed a contract with Frank Warren which includes an option to fight AJ on Sky PPV.And the exclusive Sky interview Tyson did gots people talking. One would think if he was with Warren it'd be on BoxNation. Plus it just makes sense since Joshua vs Fury is a fight being talked about.
I don't disagree with this & it does seem like this is more on the rumor side of the |rumor----might be legit| scale of this whole thing.
That seems more likely to me for a couple of reasons - Fury has worked with Warren in the past, and Warren is already associated with Fury's new management group, MTK global, through BJS.
Hearn is an energetic and diplomatic guy, but with all the balls he's juggling now, is he going to have time and space for a beligerant, unpredictable ego like Fury .. given that Eddie's No1 priority is always going to be Fury's arch rival, AJ?Last edited by kafkod; 03-08-2018, 06:09 PM.Comment

Lets not forget AJ is a free agent in the summer (or sometime this year). There is nothing saying with 100% certainty that AJ stays around despite all the AJ/Matchroom guys acting like its a lock.
The persona of Fury is a solid argument against Hearn signing with him doe I'd agree with that cuz I know Sky likes the PG rated mass appeal fighters more than they wanna deal with R rated bout to say some anti-gay sh^t out of the f#cking blue guys. So you could be right for that reason although I don't think you specifically used that as an example.
Then again Fury hasn't offended anyone for a couple months now I don't think so maybe he is minding his P's & Q's for some 3 fight Matchroom deal or something.Comment

I think what happened with UKAD made Fury realise that if you upset the powers that be in the UK, they will take you down .. whoever you are.Lets not forget AJ is a free agent in the summer (or sometime this year). There is nothing saying with 100% certainty that AJ stays around despite all the AJ/Matchroom guys acting like its a lock.

Matchroom have MTK managed fighters on the books. Chamberlain and Fielding are just two off the top of my head. So I don't think that will have any real influence on the situation.Comment
