I don't think people understand how different Spence looked vs Brook and how he looked vs Peterson. If you watch those two fights I wouldn't have been surprised if they were different ****ing people. Spence improved leaps and bounds from the Brook fight to the LP fight. He ****ing starches Brook at 154, bank on it.

Brook is a lot better than Peterson, so no surprise that Spence looked better against one than against the other.

TBH it was only after Brook eye swelled up in the 7th is when he pretty much started fighting a completely different fight then the fatigue on top of that but take the eye problem away I think Brook could have easily held on when troubled and stole a couple late rds for the W. it could be argued that Errol lost the 1st 5-6 rds straight.

This is why a rematch at 154 would be a good match up, even though one guy won emphatically first time. Of course, Spence would also be stronger at 154, so it might backfire on Kell. Then again, it might not.

Brook's eye was damaged because Spence hit him there so much, that's one of the dangers of boxing. Brook is a very good fighter but not quite the level of Spence, just an opinion.

Brave but not too smart. Take lil g for instance, he fought 36 bums in a row then lost to Jacobs & wont EVER fight him again (lesson learned) & now he is going for his 3rd loss for another Nelo bout for his two biggest pay-days (smart) & now he sends abel to dismiss & discredit Jermall so he doesn't fight him (smart).

So what would you say about Charlie Zelenoff if he starts talking like brook??

Dude seriously, that was the most opinionated reply to something that didn't have to do with the original post I have ever seen. Three loses...yet each of those two fights he lost has an overwhelming amoung of people saying he won both..by overwhelming press row is almost damn near a landslide.

At 154 Errol Spence sends Kell Brook into retirement with permanent damage.. at the time of the stoppage he was behind on every judges scorecard. Skilled fighter but every time he moves up to the elite level he will get beaten

Seriously - Brook became a "name" in the UK because of the GGG fight, so he didn't need that WW title to make money, and he would have relinquished it and moved up to 154 even if he'd beaten Spence.

He fought Errol out of pride - because he didn't want to be seen as ducking a tough challenger - and this is the respect he gets from so called boxing fans for giving them the fight they wanted to see.

Wow the hate for Brook is strong and irrational, jesus. It's a called the fight game, dude had like no vision in that fight...holy shhh. I guess we need another Magomed situation for people to cool their blood lust.

I no longer get it, I am just going to chalk it up to it being a Millennial thing or something. I seriously laugh when I see guys like Garcia getting credit like a mothafcka for having two or three great fights, he's a legend somehow.

Spence is a big 147 pounder ! Who puts it on Jermell Charlo on the regular, imagine him at 154 not having to drop that extra 7pounds..
