Seriously - Brook became a "name" in the UK because of the GGG fight, so he didn't need that WW title to make money, and he would have relinquished it and moved up to 154 even if he'd beaten Spence.

He fought Errol out of pride - because he didn't want to be seen as ducking a tough challenger - and this is the respect he gets from so called boxing fans for giving them the fight they wanted to see.

He's been struggling to make 147 for years. That's one of the reasons he was so keen on moving to 160 for GGG.

I don't know about destroying Spence at 154. But I'm I am 1 of those who was supporting Errol when he went over there and won and I have to be honest for the majority of that fight until maybe the last 3 rounds I was pretty sure Errol was on his way to a loss. Even If Brook just remained on his feet I thought he had done enough early in the fight to get the nod.. It was Errol best and worst win at the same time imo..

I think it is better for Spence to stay at 147 and wait a little for Thurman and Craword. there is more money for him than Brook rematch.
