Yes, Marquez was juiced up. No doubt about it. He had Memo Herredia in his camp. That says it all right there.

That being said, he was fighting Manny Pacquaio, who has probably been using PED's since he was 20 years old or so.

The problem here, is that the testing protocol is wayyyyy too easy to get around. Especially the NSAC's testing.

It's still very easy for a boxer to dope, and not get caught. All you'd need to do as a fighter is micro-dose E.P.O. and use HGH.

Microdosing E.P.O., you'll piss hot for 24 hours. HGH only stays in your system for 3 days, and has to be screened with a blood test.

In all likelihood, you would not get caught using this type of regiment. Unless of course, you got unlucky.

But with GBP on your side, I'm sure you could always be tipped off as to when the testers were coming.

Which makes me wonder how Canelo got caught in the first place. Even if he did get caught, you'd think GBP would have enough money to pay off the testers with hush money.

Somebody must have had it out for him. I'm not surprised he's using drugs. I'm just surprised it came to light.

Or his dope doctor is bad at math and miscalculated.

Same type of thing happened with Fluid and they fixed it with a lot of IV bags and a magical TUE. At least they had the foresight to see it coming where Clenelo did not.

Manny using PED's since he was TWENTY? What ****ing planet are you living on, he could barely get 3 meals a day at that age, where is he gonna get money to but PED's?

Y'all are some stupid ****ers at this point constantly name dropping Pac, we get it ASIAN'S should be boxing at that a high a level, keep exposing that ***** ass racism some more.

Victor Conte too so it's not just memo who is saying this he just broke down the numbers and gave a little more detail on why the low trace amounts lean heavily to this being meat problem and not him taking PED. But so far every drug expert and testing agency is pointing to the contaminated meat being legit.
Thats unless he was taking large quan****** of clen up until a week or 2 before they tested him, which in that case the clen would have been mostly metabolized in his system and only trace amounts would show if any. The likely scenario is Canelo didnt time it right and got caught. Canelos team members are butchers theres no way he would have eaten contaminated meat, cant you see thats a convenient alibi mexican boxers use? If 2 of his team members are butchers they would have gotten him a supply of clean meat and made sure of it

          • The Meat was tainted.

            GGG seems afraid.:burner:

            • If this fight goes forward without a hair follicle test I'm putting stacks of money on Canelo. Only a KO can beat him, and I don't see that happening.

                • Erik Morales found himself in a similar situation and was banned/suspended (whatever word you want to use) for two years wasn’t he? Same drug, same excuse.

These corrupt guys behind the scenes have got themselves in a seriously bad way now, it’s all eyes on them now and if they don’t ban Canelo then they look corrupt beyond reputable explanation.

I believe this fight will happen and any ‘punishment’ Canelo faces will be enforced in the aftermath.

He deserves to be banned and face the same reputation destroying result of all this the same as anyone else would, but we all know he’s just a baby cradled in the arms of the corrupt powers that be.

The best way for them to save face is to accept a ban and do his time. Anything else just totally ruins him in my opinion

If the fight is allowed to continue, other fighters will eventually get the same treatment once their percieved value gets high enough.

We've got evidence this isn't a trace amount, but very much a megadose amount at 12-14x higher than the cyclist that got caught/banned. The only reason he got caught is because Sanchez wanted early testing. Canelo's trainer is a former butcher (lol). Butchers know the industry. If the fight is allowed to go happen, this is going to turn out bad. You can't have this kind of precedent floating around out there.

Fùck your venue, fùck your hotels, fùck your restaraunts, fùck your casino's, fùck your economy. There are lives at stake here.

Canelo needs to pay the price.
Agreed. Canelo is the one who should be sued, and have to pay back all the money lost from this. GGG shouldn't risk his health over this. Just because certain fighters we're on PEDS, and no one got killed, doesn't mean it won't ever happen. I wanted to see the fight, but not like this. I'll still watch the rerun if GGG decides to risk his health, but I wouldn't pay for it

                    • Min 1 year suspension for Canelo. If not, USADA might as well be abolished.
