I understand people like to defend or attack boxers at any chance, but come on now, IMO this canelo PED bust means only onwe thing:
he took peds and got caught, thats it, IMO!!!

Lets quickly look at the 2 possibilities here:

1) after his tough first fight with GGG (the majority believe he lost) he realised he needs to juice to improve his chances of winning the rematch
so he takes this ped to enhance his training and preparation for the fight

but he got caught out, so what are his options now?
- admit to juicing and get banned/fight cancelled
this means everyone involved with the fight (belts, promoter , hotels, flights, casinos, bars, restaurants, etc) loses out on loads of money and canelos reputation up until now is questioned and ridiculed
- blame it on contaminated meat (which is well known in mexico)
oh yeh and pay the WBC and WBA a load of cash, to say they think nelo is clean, despite the positive test, proving he is not


2) despite living in mexico all his life and boxing since his teenage years, he was COMPLETELY UNAWARE meat in mexico was contaminated, something that previous fighters have been in trouble for, eating contaminated mexican meat
not just canelo being unaware of the contaminated meat problem , EVERYONE he speaks with either didnt know as well or decided not to tell him, this includes GB, trainers, NUTRITIONISTS, DIETICIANS, CHEFS, etc , hmmmmm


In my opinion it is obvious nelo took peds to give him a better chance at beating GGG in the rematch, but clen didnt get out his system in time or was unable to pay off VADA to keep quiet,
of course this is all conjecture


we shouldnt be discussing whether nelo used ped's in preparation for this fight, AS THE DRUG TEST IS POSITIVE, we should be questioning for how long has he been enhancing himself with ped's to get an unfair advantage over his opponents???

Why not do your research when it comes to athletes in Mexico testing positive for the same thing or visiting athletes testing positive for the same thing? There is a common theme for what it is and what they are putting in the live stock in Mexico, so much so that all the testing agencies are aware of this.

It's a banned substance, regardless if you took it voluntarily or not, you ingested a banned substance.
