Frampton-Quigg styles didn't mesh well at all so wouldn't be overly anxious to see it run back again.
I'm more interested in finding out who the best is then watching a good fight even.Thats just me.Now id rather have both but if given the choice I really would rather watch a fight that would decide who's best then a barnburner. But good point on Framp having a win over LSC so I'm little more disappointed with LSC.I really wish more fans(media)would not sh ite on guys who lose to other top fighters I do think that plays a part in some of this careful matchmaking.

Thanks 4 your service! My lil bro is USAF (crew chief C17s & C130s).

If Valdez dont keep his hands up on the way out, i can see that happening. I just think Valdezs feet and handspeed will be the difference but again his leaky defense could be his demise.

I think Valdez is dangerous but his style is tailor made for Frampton, if we see Frampton back to his best. He'll run him into counters, and eventually a knockout.

Valdez is a classic case of looking spectacular at fringe world level, and to be fair he has already struggled and been on the floor even at that level.

Agree with the last part. Fans are too willing to give up on a guy even if it's a close or controversial loss. Boxing fans are the ultimate worst at building a guy too soon and bringing him down too soon. What other sport do fans obsess so much what an athlete can't do rather than focus what he can do?

LSC wanted a re-match in LA or Vegas (which he got) and said if he won he'd return the favor and go fight Frampton in Belfast. Then he changed his mind. I thought that was poor and really lost respect for his character after that.

I think Russell is the best at 126 but he's so whatever about his career and fights once a year that it's hard to care about him when he doesn't care himself.

Yea agree on Russell what a waste and it might already be too late for him that's a lot of tme just sitting and even when he has fought(since J Gonz) its been very low quality. And yea also agree on LSC at least give him rematch in Cali that's the LEAST of what he should have done.

I actually like Frampton alot, he showed grit in the 1st LSC fight & i had it a clear win for him. Bad gameplan in the 2nd fight though. His demise is his short arms though.

& yeah Valdez has leaky defense but he does have good fast twitch muscle. Its going to take either an extremely heavy handed fighter to put him down & keep him down or some1 to out "athlete" him. & imo only Gary Russel can do that.
