Comments Thread For: Frampton Willing To Fight Quigg Again - If He Beats Valdez

CARL FRAMPTON has told Scott Quigg he will have the chance to avenge his only defeat if he becomes world champion this weekend. Quigg, 29, faces WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez in LA on Saturday night. The Bury boxer is looking to win his first world title since losing his WBA super-bantamweight crown to Frampton in February 2016, the only loss in his 37-fight career.

This is a good reason for me NOT to be a big fan of my fellow Irishman(Kinda). He beats Quigg fair in a real close fight but says "no rematch" but he wants LSC to give him one after losing a fair real close fight. Both LSC AND Framp need to start acting like FIGHTERS.

I think the issue with LSC is that he gave him a re-match so probably felt he deserved one himself. I felt he beat LSC clearer (in fight I) than he did Quigg but lose fight II wider than those two fights and would be less likely to overturn the result.

Frampton-Quigg styles didn't mesh well at all so wouldn't be overly anxious to see it run back again.

Do you think Quigg gets by Valdez?

Anytime. I was USAF. I got Quigg winning a tough fight with Valdez by close Decision. I could very easily be wrong.
