Well if Abel suspected that there was something questionable about Canelo’s hand wraps, he should have intervened at the time.

Maybe Abel should also now advise GGG to make Canelo's team amend the contract and add a "No eating meat of any kind" clause...

Yeah, he's basically saying that putting a tape base then gauze then tape again creates a sandwich of gauze which is like plaster, he is right, it's not allowed, although the reason the rule exists is to prevent multiple sandwiches, just one is probably not providing much, if any, advantage.

I think what Abel has to do if he believes the wrap is illegal and it's not rectified is pull his fighter out, but of course that was never going to happen, so he should shut up about it now.
