Why are people trying to make Joshua some mega star before he earns it?

He is a mega star. When you can fill stadiums for fights against guys that most fans don't know, you are a mega star, whether you think his resume is worthy or not.

The Wlad win impressed me a lot. 41 or no, he'd dominated the division for a long time. Fury's win was probably better but the fight itself didn't have the fireworks. And Aj's unifying at the end of the month. What do you want from the guy?

The jealousy on here is amusing. Joshua is the best and if you give him a little more time he'll prove it by destroying the very average wilder.

You're mistaken, people want Joshua-Wilder. But at the same time they don't expect Joshua to take less than he's worth to overpay Wilder.

LMAO since when does it matter who you beat to be a star? Was Rigo a star before he lost Lomachenko? 2 gold medals and one of the pound for pound top fighters? No because stardom is fame and popularity. Joshua is breaking all boxing attendance records. Only fights from the 1920's had larger crowds. He's also the most followed active boxer on instagram and almost has twice the amount of followers that Canelo has. Do I need to go on?
