Why would Arum gift the top rank WBO belt to Parker against his own guy in Ruiz ?

By ‘gift’, I meant I thought he was very lucky to get the decision. I had Ruiz by 7-4 with a 10-10 and no idea how two of the judges gave Parker 7 rounds.

Nothing against Parker. I’m sure he’s a nice guy. IMO he’s not on the same level as AJ. I think he was lucky to get the decision against Ruiz who I feel won that fight. Otherwise no issues with Parker.
