Your last bout on HBO was your two round destruction of Hercules Kyvelos on January 31, 2004. Getting yourself back on HBO is a must to ignite your career.

Here’s the point Tony. Make yourself a star. Don’t sit and wait for the opportunity for Pretty Boy or Golden Boy or anyone else to give you the opportunity, Just look at this past weekend. If they didn’t know who Paulie was before, they sure know him now.

Antonio Margarito, once regarded as the most underappreciated fighter in the sport, is now the most overrated fighter in boxing. He has never appeared to me to be the star that many think he is. He has rudemantary skills, throwing wide punches at average speed. Against Cintron and Kyvelos, you can get away with that. Against guys like Cotto and Mayweather, that will land you in intensive care. Margarito needs to beat a name star, and that will only happen if he vacates the worthless WBO title. The other titlists will not have to face him because he cannot become a mandatory challenger to any of them as long as has a worthless alphabelt. I say he should vacate, fight an eliminator, and then force a fight with one of the recognizable stars of the division. Otherwise, a rematch with "*******" Gomez or some other meaingless fights are on his horizon.

P.S. His biggest win was over Kermit Cintron. KERMIT ****ING CINTRON! Let's all come back to Earth and recognize him as a contender, not an invincible warrior.

i had heard alot (on this site and others) about antonio margarito before i even seen him fight..so i figured he was kind of good..but now ive seen about 5 of his fights..and im not impressed at all by this big cluce...he fights like a heavyweight

Max boxing has the best writers, but they are a money site that pretty much just nuthugs the promotional companies that pay them kickbacks. I remember Boxing T-alk had beef with Main Events because they left them and started doing business with Max. All of a sudden, all of the fighters that they used to hype from ME became **** in their eyes, and they started aggressively promoting the fighters that they used to diss. All of these pay boxing sites are crooked and looking to kiss ass for money. Ever wonder why Mayweather does all of those chats free at BT ****ING CROOKS!
