I think if Quigg survives the first 4 or 5 rounds he might get a late stoppage victory
Agree with this. I was very impressed with his fights leading into that and got to see him from up close on the Crawford-Postol card. I had him pegged on the fast track for pound for pound stardom but the last two fights as you say he's putting too much into every shot and trying too hard to force a KO. Soon as this fight got made it appealed to me because Quigg studies his opponent and throws nice, straight punches and has good technique.

Quigg is tough too. Fought with a broken jaw against Frampton and won the late rounds but started too slow. Frampton may not be as strong as Valdez but he's a better, more experienced boxer. That was also a huge grudge match and super fight in England whereas this one he's just the opponent so less pressure.

Valdez may be too strong but if Quigg weathers it and is in the fight he will close the gap and make it a hard one. I'm picking Valdez but it's about 60/40 for me. It's messed up to say this but I think Roach is the reason I'm giving the extra 10% to Valdez at this point lol.
