I agree landotter. Josuhua seems gassed at times. I believe more road work instead of bodybuilding would help his cause.

        Parker aint no slouch eh!

        He's got 18 out of 24 wins from KO's.

AJ doesn't have one punch knockout power like windmill. He has to set up a combo with the finisher being at the end of it.

        Here's the thing...

Parker has never been down EVER, because he's not there to be hit by multiple combos.

Yeah you can tag him once, but his handy movement and solid defense means he wont be there to be hit 3 or 4 times in a row.

AJ is the one who will be in for the boxing lesson!!!

...and because of his glass jaw he'd better not make the mistake of thinking he can toe to toe it with Oilskin and come out the better for it.

If Parker came out all guns blazing and let his hands go from the get go, he could easily drop the giant robot in the first round.

I seriously doubt AJ could do the same to Parker.

Everything points to AJ working on stamina to go the distance, stay out of trouble and get the win by home cooked decision like Team Fury thought they would get in Manchester.

Parker will be looking to knock AJ over and trust that his durable chin, better stamina, plus fast hands and decent power gives him the opportunity to do that at any stage of the fight.

Best bet would be real early or real late...

Good points and analysis but Parker won't dare toe to toe with AJ who is the heavier puncher.
If AJ chin is as glass as you think I believe he wouldn't have survive against Whyte & Wladimir .
Perhaps Parker have survive against fighters who don't hit hard like AJ. Parker's strength are his movement, speed & stamina which are better than that of AJ. But Joshua complements that with strength, size and power.
I anticipate an interesting and tough fight for both fighters because of their contrasting styles.

If Joshua wakes the raw Samoan warrior in Parker, damn straight oilskin will stand in the middle of the ring and **** away.

            He's done it before!

Parker can take the hits from AJ where AJ with his glass jaw can't.

If Parker wobbles AJ, he's got the instinct and gas to put him away where dillian and wlad couldn't.

AJ isn't that much stronger, if at all, size is a hindrance to movement and the power differences is marginal.

I'm expecting a damn good fight too with a surprise knockout of AJ.

Only I wont be surprised as their styles are pretty much the same. It's just whos better at executing it and has the better chin will be the difference.

They're both come forward fighters who can counter punch and score off the back foot if needs, but would rather walk their opponent down if they think they have the better skills to back themselves out of trouble should they mistime and don't really do the clinchy thing.

They're more like each other than they are wilder or fury. Great students of the game with a classic style that harkens back to the fundamentally sound big ****ers of the 70's.

I agree with Miller, it seems a lot of people are looking past Parker. Mostly on the basis of a lacklustre showing in his last couple of fights. I suspect though that on March 31st we'll see the best Parker that's ever stepped into a ring. The fight will already make him rich but a win would give him rewards far beyond what he could've realistically dreamed of. He's 26, fast and hungry. I think he'll give a great account of himself and AJ will have his work cut out to best him.

I don't think he'll ultimately prevail, my guess is AJ's strength and greater experience will tell in the championship rounds as long as he manages his energy level better than recent outings. If he did though it would be a great story for boxing, Parker seems like a great bloke.

I agree to your submissions but I honestly don't see AJ losing in front of his massive vociferous supporters unless Parker comes in with a sledge hammer like Triple H in Wrestle mania...Lol

Parker has a reputation as a puncher but he hasn't stopped anyone since stepping up to world level. He has a TKO win over Dimitrenko where he pushed him down, hit him an illegal body shot and Dimitrenko went rolling around looking for the DQ.

Look at Parker's resume at world level - Joshua is levels above him based upon what they have show to date.
