Oh yeah Trinidad is really old and waaay out of prime.Granted he should have on more fight before facing a guy like Winky after being off for 2 years but I will tell you this Winky would beat Trinidad and nearly shut him out 9 out of every 10 times no matter when........The one time tito would win is when he got lucky and hurt Winky and was able to get him out of there which is very hard to do.....styles make fights and Winky has the style to destroy a more or less one dimensional slugger like Tito........I.E. Calzaghe would beat Lacy 9 out 10 times for the same reason.

scored the Vargas fight close D for Vargas it wasnt even remotely close to a robbery. For Taylor to beat Wright he is gonna have to fight him like Vargas did.Although Taylor has more power he still needs to follow up with power combos.

Winky destroyed Tito when they fought. Tito won maby 1 round. But if they had fought a few years before, Tito could have stopped winky.

No, just you. I know Winky was Tech boxer and Tito was a slugger. Tech boxer usually beats the slugger(Tunny-Dempsey,Holyfield-Tyson).

But Tito had heart. I think he could have caught winky or atleast win a close MD or SD against him.

i've always said, many people jumped on winkys bandwagon after his fight with vargas and this thread is proof. im not a fan of winkys but i remember his fights from back in the day and all taylor has to do is fight his fight and he will win. winky is over-rated.

WInky started his walk down the opponent style vs Vargas and lost(really won) and havent lost since. I think Winky does take opponents lightly at times. But he rises when its a big fight. He will be ready for Jermain Green Taylor

I thought the vargas fight was close, the nod going to the undefeated champ, which makes sense.
