OMG LOLOLOLOLOL. Can't believe this headline. Two cheaters backing another cheater. Morales used to be one of my favorite boxers... in situations like these, you're better off keeping quiet. Morales had to use the meat excuse to save his career or reputation or whatever, which still, lying is lying, but you kind of understand it given that probably most of his opponents cheated too and just didn't get caught. But now for him to defend another cheater just because money is behind Canelo, even though it doesn't affect Morales' career at all? That I can't defend. No longer a Morales fan.Comment

Because you don't get 0.6-0.8 by eating tainted meat. The cyclist who tested positive and was banned had a Clen rate of 0.05m Canelo's 0.6-0.8 is 12-16 times higher. Unless he ate 30lbs of raw tainted meat the day before testing, this is a total lie. The substance would degrade even more in cooked meat.Comment

is canelo the only fighter in mexico being tested? if the tainted meat is so crazy wide spread thru out mexico then why arent every other mexican fighter getting pop and why didnt canelo get pop before then. damm nowadays you can commit a murder and mofos will stand up for you i guess.Comment

If this is such a known problem in Mexico, shouldn't the highest paid fighter in the sport afford to take every precaution necessary to make sure this doesn't happen?? Btw, isn't his trainer a butcher also??Comment

The cyclist wasn't from a contaminated meat country, he would have got a pass by WADA if he was.Because you don't get 0.6-0.8 by eating tainted meat. “We acknowledge that the clenbuterol meat contamination issue is unsatisfactory,” said Olivier Niggli, Director General, WADA. “Accordingly, since 2011, the Agency has carried out several research studies aimed at providing analytical means to distinguish ingestion of clenbuterol by pharmacological origin versus that of meat contamination,” he continued. “We will continue to invest in scientific research to try to solve this issue as quickly as possible,” Niggli continued. “However, in the meantime, we maintain that disciplinary proceedings against athletes with low level urinary concentrations, from countries known for significant risk of exposure, would have little to no prospect of success; and, would be very unfair to the athletes concerned.”

oh BTW from the same link.
"All of the values were below 1ng/ml and therefore in the range of potential meat contamination cases."
