Oh yea don't get it confused. I'm not betting on it lol.

I'm hopeful they will all start doing this & we can have some conformity with it across the elite level (abc ranked guys + title holders) of the sport eventually. I mean its a rare time when I think abc groups are moving in the right direction, but this would be one.

Idk that commissions can do much. Idk that anyone else can do much besides abc groups. You'd need some NFL of boxing to come along to improve the structure of the sport to make it more like other top sports to fix this I think. Its too big of a thing to conquer with boxing at large with the power in boxing so spread out among different parties with different priorities. At the elite level of the sport its more manageable right now. But yea there will be a longer than necessary period of trial & error cuz the abc groups suck at anything besides getting there sanctioning fees.

I agree the alpha bit boys are in the best position to affect change.Just not sure how we can pressure them since 3/4 are out of country.Maybe if the ABC started sayin NO TITLE on line inn our state without the testing.Gotta admit that sounds like a lot of wishfull thinking just looking at what I just wrote lol.But I really do think we as fans IF WE STICK TOGETHER could MAYBE put some pressure on.

I think the next one should be to the BWAA and ask them not to name ANYMORE titles.(like ibo). This could really work I remember before internet the main boxing mags refused to name the WBO and it took a long time for them to get recognized. They started in 88 and it was not until the 2000s that they started gaining traction. Now in a PERFECT world they would name NONE and just go by THE RING or TRANS.But I don't see us getting rid of the big 4 but we REALLY cant afford anymore.

Most of the time a state is just happy to get a big fight in the first place. And good luck getting them all to agree to that sorta thing.

I honestly think the biggest power fans have is to not watch fights. And thats why boxing has gotten smaller with its core audience over the years. Plus that big mainstream audience comes to watch the big fights less. Thats boxing making bad moves in my eyes. Boxing is too damn confusing with all the belts. The sketchy decisions & not making the fights the people wanna see them when they wanna see them has turned the fans off.

At some point they'll be too many people who've been lost & they'll have to change to get them back or find new people & to insure there are more big fights that mainstream fans come out for.

Good points but I'm sure we can afford to lose more eyes/fans and still make a comeback. At some point the dam will bust and there might not be no coming back. Now I don't mean it will end and go away but it will at some point hit point of no return. It will be like reg kickboxing in the 80s and 90s with ESPN showing the same fight at 3 in morning for about 6 months.

Idk that boxing is gonna end cuz of this sorta stuff or anything that serious. I just think it'll need to make changes to get the value of boxing to go back up to where it should be at some point.

I think we could be there now & thats why Hearn is coming to America & the UFC is dipping their toe in boxing & the WBSS come to be & even PBC coming to be 3 years ago & that AIBA Pro Boxing thing were both plays to make a move in my eyes.

I think boxing is a value buy right now to talk investment type stuff. There is easy entry into boxing right now & there is HUGE upside in a couple years to further down the line. And to me thats why we are seeing so many new things in boxing in the last few years & now that we've not really seen all at once before. From there we just need some of these new cats to group together, unlike past power brokers (assuming they can reach that status of course), & push for the changes we need in boxing to get people wanting to watch boxing every time its on & to bring in more of the fairweather mainstream audience for the bigger fights.

No it will never end but it can reach the point of no return(as far as any high level broadcasters dealing with it)imo.Although I will say RIGHT NOW boxing is in better place then it has for a few years but at the end of every decade the numbers keep going down.I mean people use PPV numbers to say boxing is growing that's a flawed viewpoint.PPV is growing as the biggest PPV is REALLY prob Holy/Foreman it drew like 1.8 at a time when there was only 8 mil homes with PPV.I know I had to go one town over and rent a hotel room with friends we bought a keg and charged for cups to make it back lol.May/Pac got 4.6 but there are 100 mil plus with PPV now.
