After thinking about the attendance and these ratings a little more. Don't be surprised if T-Mobile Arena starts being thrown around in talks for Wilder v. Joshua. (If Parker doesn't spoil things).

1. That live gate does over $20 million tomorrow if the fight is announced. That's nearly twice the live gate for Joshua v. Klitchsko btw. (Alvarez v. GGG did $27 million with 17.5k tickets sold).

2. The British PPV crowd would still come in north of 1 million buys. (They've done it for all of AJ's last three fights, and the same is true for Mayweather for comparison. Mayweather v. McGregor has the record at above 1.5 million in the UK)

3. The sponsorship number would likely be close to $10 million for the fight in Vegas.

4. The wildcard is the number of US PPV buys. I think the floor would be 300k, with a ceiling of 1.2 million depending promotional quality.

Based on this, there might be an argument for more money being in Vegas due to the US PPV buys pulling in the additional money that can't be captured if the fight was held in the UK.

Obviously 18k fans in T-Mobile isn't the same as 90k screaming brits, but financially it appears things are leaning towards the US. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

always good when a card that draws decent numbers turns out to be entertaining. that's what brings casual interest back to the sport. in true boxing fashion, the next hyped up fight with probably end up being a bust tho.

From the Broadcasters Audience Research Board, most reliable source there is for UK TV viewing figures:

Mayweather vs McGreggor: 874,000 PPVs

Joshua vs Klitschko: 1,532,000 PPVs

The BARB figures take a while to come out, but they are **** in line with the numbers Hearn was bragging about 2 days after the fight:

"Eddie Hearn has revealed to the BBC that the fight was purchased over 1.5 million times in the UK alone - a British record"
