FORMER champ, and in his most important fights he almost always loses in recent years. Feed him some more Jason Litzau's and maybe he'll do ok. But he's never going to be 1/10th the 'worldbeater' he envisions himself being. Classic example of a nasty overblown ego killing a career.

For a 'comeback' fight, I thought Vargas did alright. Herrera's main thing was body shots that night, but Vargas hung in there and had that look throughout of just putting in a workmanlike performance in chopping Herrera down... getting a knockdown along the way to a dominant performance. I think Vargas' workrate alone will just put Bonehead back into his usual lazy, safe mode he's done most of his fights.

Tank Davis needs to step up and fight better competition, Charlo fight is also a mismatch, the Broner vs Vargas fight should be good

Good matchup but I don't see any knock downs in this fight.
Vargas may hurt Broner just like he did to Timothy Bradley Jr.

Won't happen. Lazy is his trademark in recent years.

That's just it. You nailed it.

Yep. A good solid workrate along with a good solid attitude. That's what got Vargas to the level he's at, and what will keep him in the fight 24/7/365.

I got Vargas on this one. Broner has no heart!!!! Once he gets hit he focuses completely on trying to avoid getting hit. Broner has been a hype job from day one!!!! Of course there are always millions of sheep ready to be led by any farce and specially the so called "true to the game" thugs!!!

When was the last time Broner won in "spectacular fashion"? Allakhverdiev in 2015? Or am I giving him too much credit for that one lol?

But respect to Broner if he can.

How did you lose with that dude in your training camp.. its not the trainer its HIM flat out Mike Stafford and couple other guys told him when he was fighting Mikey Garcia what to do he didn't go out there and do it. He's a good C plus fighter... Every time its time to step up to the plate he's taking a lost. Weight has nothing to do it... if thats the case mikey moved up with no issues and took the fight to him... how is this dude even headlining a event??? I remember a while ago if you lost you went back on the undercard until they felt it was time to put you back into the limelight. Dude reminds me of a modern day Zab Judah

people got to stop putting zab and broner in the same sentence. zab in talent was far better than broner and in his prime was getting his ass handed to him by the best at that time. he didn't do half of the bullshyt broner is doing today.

                  broner is broner.

It doesn`t matter. Broner also made Porter come down to 144 bust still lost.
