58 out of 200 slaughterhouse's in Mexico were found in 2016 to be producing contaminated meat. This is a huge problem for the anti-doping authorities. https://t.co/NIZd475brp
— Victor Conte (@VictorConte) March 5, 2018
Combination of the rampant amount of contaminated meat in Mexico and the extremely low traces in his system consistent with contaminated meat but hey Conte is only an expert on this shyt what does he know
The concentration of Clenbuterol in Alvarez’s body was low, and that is significant, Conte said.
“When they say trace amounts, it’s way down in the parts per trillion,” Conte said. “You have parts per million, parts per billion and then parts per trillion. You have trace and then this would be called ultra-trace concentrations. So do I think this is likely it came from a contaminated meat source? I do.”

It was brought up earlier that on an All Access episode for a Canelo fight several years ago that Canelo's camp discusses how his food is shipped in to avoid this very thing. Is there any truth to this? He's definitely not in million dollar training camps with sponsors providing street meat. The public is making such a stink about this, that VADA will have problems sweeping it under the rug if he did "cheat". This fight could absolutely be in jeopardy right now.

I’d say it’s the other way around. And at the top level of the sport, with millions of dollars on the line, it’s even less surprising. GGG fans shouldn’t be so confident their horse is clean. “Not guilty” is not the same as “innocent.”

The most important line in this one:
“But these are multi-million-dollar athletes. I’d be shipping in fresh meat from someone other than Mexico. They had to know this was a possibility.”
I give Canelo the benefit of the doubt, but he also bears responsibility. This is a well known problem in Mexico and Canelo has more than enough money to get his meat from somewhere else. He has to be smarter.
Otherwise fighters can abuse the "Mexican tainted meat" excuse and intentionally take PEDs.

The fight is going to continue on not even the GGG camp is asking for the fight to be canceled. Nevada is not canceling the fight.Last edited by bigdunny1; 03-06-2018, 01:25 AM.

http://www.yahoo.com/amphtml/sports/...222205202.htmlTo say Canelo "always does VADA testing" is simply NOT TRUE. Let's be real. Canelo does ~2 months of random testing b4 his fights & NO TESTING for ~4 months after each of his fights. This loop hole is so huge that you could drive a Mack truck through it. Boxing deserves the truth https://t.co/uYCz7PBQ5l

“[Canelo and Golovkin] fought six months ago. What have they been doing since then? For four months, they had the green light to do whatever they wanted."
GGG is doing 365 VADA and Canelo is not.. my guess is Canelo just miscalculated the Clen detection time.
