I would rather see Jacobs vs. Charlo than GGG vs. Jacobs II, especially if GGG is coming off a loss to Canelo! Canelo vs. Charlo is tailor-made for Texas in September, but I'm not sure Oscar let's that happen in 2018!

That would be a perfect venue??? I would love to see Charlo/Canelo in Dallas Stadium.

Its all about the money. Unless they are forced to fight one of the mandatories (I guarantee you that they will drop the one Charlo is mandatory for) they will fight Lemieux. All Lemieux has to do is lay out O'Sullivan in the same way he layed out Curtis Stevens and the fight will get made. I guarantee you that. Who else would Golden Boy match him up with outside of a GGG rematch.

Charlo or Saunders is who I think would be next. No one cares about LeSux. Maybe Canadians??? Canelo would stomp Lenuix. It wouldn't even be worth watching IMO. And im DEFINITELY not buying it on PPV.

I agree with Shadow. Lemieux is yesterdays news and of very little interest in top level competition anymore. Would be no more than padding Canelos record with another win with no real benefit to his legacy. Daniel Geale would be a prime example. GGG beat him, then Canelo did,.....and who really cares or talks about either victory over Geale?!? About the only benefit made of this possible matchup would be a nice payday for Lemieux,..and that's about it.

He won't fight Saunders because Saunders moves too much. He won't fight Charlo because he doesn't want to. He had plenty of opportunities to fight him at 154 but never did. The people who buy Canelo vs. Lemieux won't care about Lemieux anymore than people cared about Liam Smith or Amir Khan. Neither of those 2 guys were seen as a real threat to "Con"elo. A fight with Lemiuex is no different.

Jacobs never left. PBC website announced his fight just last week. With Sulecki, who is also with Haymon.
Jacobs just has an HBO contact. Haymon fighters are free to fight on whichever network.

Okay. Did not know that, and will completely take your word. Was going off several stories that made me think he was totally in with Matchbox, who was using Jacobs star power to get their foot in the US with their deep pockets, and just assumed he was out of the PBC.

I don't mind being wrong if it is better for great boxing matches.....

Do you even know what's going on? Al is still Jacobs advisor. Nelo, Jacobs & Jermall should be last to fight & we need to weed out the weak 1st starting with lil g.

Again.... Fair enough. No,I was wrong and some simple follow up after the post above shows that. It is a strange set up, as Haymon does his work with Showtime and generally there is no other promotion s are involved, but more power to Jacobs and props to you and everyone else who corrected me.
