Another observation. Canelo was caught over 2 months out from fight. It was smart to test early. The cycle period is before camp starts....

Very good point. Did Canelo spend the 5 months since the last fight on more drugs than Ivan Drago and just not flush his system in time? We know Lamont Peterson only got caught because they surprised him with a test at the first press conference to announce the fight. Testing early in camp seems very important. We know Canelo had no tests for getting down to 154 for Smith, I wonder how far out from the Chavez fight did they start testing?

I believe the tainted meat excuse when you're not a multi-millionaire...the early test is a red flag as well, and he's clearly training for stamina....i'd never seen him with the high altitude mask before. He will get away with it though.
