Thank god for this higher level drug testing that detects problems like that. May 5th get ready, the show goes on.

They do know that there is a problem with the beef in Mexico but it drug in a person's system can't be traced back to a specific source.
Apparently this drug is used by athletes to reduce fat and increase stamina.

Clenbuterol is a powerful bronchodilator that has an incredible fat burning properties. Many athletes use Clenbuterol to help them drop body fat quickly.

    Personally I don't think it's an issue.

canelo/ggg is only a bigger fight financially....which was my main point to begin with

chris do you ever realize(of course you dont) how you try to come off as some holier than thou elitist boxing fan .....but most of your posts are just tripe and you spinning things around in circles

ward/ggg was actuallly a better matchup....the only thing that makes ggg/canelo bigger is canelos popularity and the money he brings.....so naturally lil gs fans insisted its common sense to chase the bigger money fight.....

guys like you will sit here and say "boxing needs it and it should be good" until you dont get the result you want...then youll cry about what a disgrace to boxing it is and how it ruins the sports and turns people away
Wilder's fights don't appeal all that much to me. I watch them because I watch it all but I really don't like that style and how sloppy it is.

What result do I want? I want an entertaining fight and a non controversial outcome. Always.

How was Ward-GGG a better fight? I'm assuming you think Ward would completely dominate the smaller man? So how is that more entertaining than a competitive fight against a fighter (Canelo) who is far more entertaining than Ward?

The built in excuses are already being lined up

        He's old
Canelo made him wait too long for the rematch
        Paid off judges

Why would Golovkin fans be scared? Saul was the one who back peddled all night.

i think ward would have won...but i dunno about completely dominate

if ward and golovkin are both active dont u think both rate p4p wise over canelo? i do....thats what im looking to see....best vs best

its sounds to me like you think that ward would have dominated golovkin.......what does being smaller have to do with anything? ward went up and faced a bigger man who was actually known as killer and not a spoiler....and stopped him

is that too much of a challenge for a great like golovkin? going up one class to fight a featherfisted spoiler? omg how dare i ask that of golovkin...lol

im interested in seeing top guys fight each other if they are near each other in weight....sounds to me like you should go into the promoting business where you are more worried about entertainment and lining guys pockets

you said you didnt like wilder because hes corny and obnoxious....lol.....like speaking in broken english, saying "goodboy big drama show, and wanting to be mexican is somehow charming

[QUOTE=Bjl12;18545654]Manny turned down most lucrative fight of all time after making several "requests" of his own. Floyd agreed with all:
              - 50/50 PPV split
              - $10 million Penalty PER POUND over 147

              Floyd made one request
              - OSDT

Not only could Manny not agree to TAKE TESTS ALONG WITH FLOYD he came up with excuses for Y E A R S as to why he couldn't test.
              - Afraid of needles

              - Giving blood weakens him

"If they give me a 5-day window or something like that I have no problem with it," Roach said. "When they've drawn blood from Manny in the past he feels weaker for three or four days. It may be mental, but it's there.[/QUOTE

              - Needs a "cutoff" date just before the fight (when PED use would be most concerning)

In 2009, the much-anticipated “Fight of the Century” between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. did not materialize, and one of the reasons cited was Pacquiao’s refusal to undergo blood

              - Needed 9 months for a cut to heal

              http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...yweather-fight

              - Needed an outdoor stadium built

              Now, as for Canelo...

Ca$hnelo taking a DIURETIC 8 weeks out - before or even at the start of camp - poses zero PERFORMANCE ENHANCING threat. Couple that with the fact the drug has been PROVEN to be found in Mexican meat...zero reason to suspect anything other than "bad meat"
Clenbuterol is not a good diuretic. It has only a very slight effect in losing water weight. If someone wanted to shed water weight they would use something else. It helps with aesthma sufferers, increases stamina and burns fat. And yes Mexico has a problem with Clenbuterol. The points is it's not a good diuretic.

You'd see a lot more knockouts and more fans coming back to the sport. Just sayin.

Canelo's failed test reminds me of a wall street crash. Suddenly, all the complacent muppets of the world are scrambling to get 2 cents on the dollar for what they invested in, and have to deal with their lives being absolutely destroyed.

I have no doubt Canelo fans have come together to brainstorm how to get the **** out of this mess. But the whiteboard is empty.

Nowhere did I say it is. I think it's unfair to poke fun at a man because he's not great in like his 3rd or 4th language. The fact that he has world class skill and isn't a classless racist who's assaulted women is enough for me. I've also never claimed Golovkin to be a "great". I don't use that term loosely.

I like good matches. I don't think Ward makes good matches. He clinches and fouls too much. I consider Canelo to be a better fighter than Ward.

Similar to Wilder canceling the Ortiz, Povetkin fight because he's scared?
