Styles make fights and Ortiz is a damn good boxer. Thoughts?
Luis Ortiz wouldve beat the Klitchko Joshua beat...

Wlad doesn't fall in to counters like Deontay. Ortiz loses the battle of the jabs with Wlad in a tepid affair, Wlad's straight right keeps Ortiz honest and he fades late. The condition isn't there, and as Malik Scott and Dave Allen proved and Deontay said, Ortiz isn't a power puncher. -
I know Klitchko has an educated Jab but jabs dont land as much on a southpaw.Wlad doesn't fall in to counters like Deontay. I think Wlad would have used his jab all night and eventually opened an opportunity for a big right hand. He has a good enough jab that Ortiz has trouble landing that left hand. But Wlad/Ortiz is a boring fight, probably as bad as Wlad/Fury.
Wilder had to rely on pure power and his reach advantage. The younger, quicker man caught up to the older, slower man.Comment

If Wilder got to Ortiz with his power, Wlad, who is much better at setting up shots, would've also. I don't know if Ortiz could stand that power.
Lets also not inflate Ortiz too much. He is a B/B- level boxer that has dominated weak opposition. he is a top tier HWT without question, but that doesn't mean he was ever on Wlad's level.Comment

I'd pick that Wlad to beat Ortiz.
I don't see Wlad reacting too much to the traps Ortiz likes to set.
They're both solid win for Joshua and Wilder though. After AJ beats Parker (i'm assuming he will), those 2 have separated themselves from the rest of the pack (I'm not including Fury as being back in the game just yet).Comment
