Brook is at 154, but they're talking about Spence Jr. and Amir Khan? First things first! Talk about Lubin, Williams, and Gallimore. Then talk about Hurd, Lara, and Charlo! Stop talking about welterweights after your first fight at Jr. Middleweight!

Why is Brook calling out Welterweights anyway.
There are plenty of names at 154 for him to fight.
He could fight Smith, Hurd, Sulecki, Trout, Charlo, or Lara.
Spence will beat him up again after he unifies 147.

20 weeks to make weight is ******! Fighting GGG is okay just like Paquiao vs 35yr old Oscar de la Hoya. Brook is big enough but not good enough. Hearn is not as lucky like Arum. 😇

It's funny people keep saying Brook was doing fine until his stamina faded. That wouldn't have anything to do with all those punches he was taking did it? I suppose his eye socket broke itself too.

Well one thing we know for sure is they either lied to the public leading up to the fight to sell more tickets/ppv's or they are lying now about how hard (compared to previous fights) it was to make 147 lbs for that fight, take your pick.

Don't get me wrong I know Brook is a HUGE welterweight and has to lose a lot but I remember him looking so drained/gaunt for the Bizier fight and that was obviously the fight before Golovkin. Yet in the ring he looked good and very accurate just like he did on saturday vs Rabchenko at 154. It's easy to make excuses after the fight but leading up to the fight Eddie and Brook kept going on about how well he was doing the weight in contrast to previous welterweight fights. He lost because Spence was the better man, plain and simple.

The only thing Brook is going to do at 154 is get his face broken again by Charlo.
Please note - I'm a Spence fan, NOT a Brook fan.

However, all the observations that Brook was holding his own for the first 6 rounds are accurate, and Brook was indeed up on the scorecards after 6 (justifiably so).

During the fight I was frustrated with Spence as I expected him to put on a master class vs Brook and dominate, but he seemed clueless in the first 6 rounds on how to deal with with him.

Spence put some body work into the first 6, but nowhere near enough to break anyone down. I've been watching boxing since the 1970s and know crippling body work when I see it, and I didn't see it from Spence.

It was all to predictable that Brook was going to have problems at 147. He was struggling to make 147 before Golovkin, and once he went up to 160 there was no way he was going to get back to 147 again without paying a price, and that's what we saw in the second half of the Spence fight where Brook's body just gave out - nothing to do with Spence.

Indeed, I thought Spence was the second coming before the Brook fight and realised just how limited he was afterwards. However, took solace that Spence would have learned more from those first 6 rounds than any fight previously, and that's how you get better.

Spence vs Brook at 154 ? I think Brook potentially keeps those first 6 rounds going to the end of the fight, but Spence shows improvement from the first fight and wins again in a competitive bout.

Given GGG and Spence haven't broken anyone else's orbital bones, I think its safe to Brook had some sort abnormal orbital bone weakness. Now his eye sockets have been reinforced with titanium and bone grows back stronger it shouldn't be an issue. Kell Brook wasn't anywhere 100% in that fight and he might not win the rematch but its amazing people are knocking him on here for wanting to fight Spence again when everyone at welterweight is ducking him.
