I think Floyd is smart, if not his ego wouldn't have let Haymon build him up as he did. With that said, would I classify him as a businessman? No.

Sh^t man I used to think Koncz was a double agent for Arum to get things done Arum wanted done, but now I think this mfer is just fleecing Manny some sorta way or not guiding him correctly towards a better direction. Maybe he triple crossed Arum or maybe he's always been there to fleece Manny idk, but I don't buy that mfer is doing Manny any favors.

Thats probably the first leech Manny needs to drop. Damn shame Manny keeps trying to buy friendships with mfers. I feel bad for the dude if his money legit dries up & he finds out who his people are for real cuz I bet it won't be a lot of these mfers flying all over the world with him & staying nights in 5 star hotels on his dime.
Not an all the way fair comparison, but compare the work that Koncz did for Pacquiao to the work that Haymon did for Mayweather or Contorsi did for Maidana.

Put the right folks in place to make sure that the basics were handled properly (taxes are paid, paydays managed and invested), keep the camp small, and leave the sport never needing to work another day of your life.

          Self-inflicted wounds, tbh

There's been nothing written anywhere about any settlement of tax issues anywhere, and it's going to be pretty darn difficult for a "politician of the people" like Duterte to simply let one of the most high-profile tax cheats simply have his debt absolved because he is a political ally. Nice try, though

That guy was frauding tax refunds. Doesn't have anything to do with what they turned up looking through Manny's financial records ; EG Important financial documents not being properly stored and all kinds of evidence of Arum flubbing Manny's checks.

Yeah, I've never, ever heard of a politician backtracking or going against his own campaign policies. Ever.

It was right before the MacGregor fight that Floyd had to ask the IRS for an extension for unpaid taxes. Uncle Sugar wants their 30% cut when you only fight in the states.
cant have a Manny thread without deflecting to Mayweather I see
