I thought the Takam win was pretty solid. The stoppage was BS but still a good win.

Fury is outta play. If Fury never left I'd probably have him 1 & Joshua & Wilder fighting for the 2 spot or whichever guy hadn't lost to Fury already would be my 2.

And length of reign doesn't make your resume better automatically.

Wlad was shot and still managed to take AJ to hell and back. Ortiz was undefeated and looking great.
Everyone is shot after they lose. And Klitschko's history in the division is so much more impressive than anyone around today its obviously going to count for more via two birds in the bush is worth one in your hand. In theory Ortiz was a bad mfer more than he was proven to be one. Klitschko had proof he was a bad mfer.

Still, it's debatable who's on top but I feel that Wilder has now solidified the top seed. AJ/Parker result could change this though.
I definitely agree with the bolded remark.

And yea to me 1-10 rankings are w/e & highly subjective. When you get up higher & everyone is saying these 2 or 3 or 4 guys are the best thats when those guys fighting decide not who's number 1 so much as who's the real champion among the title holders. And thats up for grabs so if you got Wilder 1 or Joshua 1 its some bs opinion right now.

When they fight the real champion will be revealed & thats what'll really matter not a bunch of us boxing dorks arguing or presenting theories about it.

Most will agree? Let's be real, that wasn't a great performance. He showed great heart, but was handily outboxed and he very well could have been stopped. I'm glad fields didn't stop it, but tbh he could have and been justified. He didn't show the ability to box and win rounds...the only rounds he clearly won were when he hurt and stopped ortiz, but somehow was up on the cards? Glad he got by ortiz cuz wilder vs joshua is the fight...but he got thru by the skin of his teeth.

They have to prove that IN THE RING. Winner of Parker/Joshua faces Wilder NEXT NEXT NEXT.

I disagree. AJ is my #1 hwt right now. I think the wlad win was slightly better than the Ortiz win. AJ is also far more skilled .

I agree with you that Wilder is number one but disagree about AJ having to travel. AJ is still the A side, even though I would favor Wilder to defeat him. Wilder knows that he will have to go to England for the first fight most likely. The rematch will be in Vegas.

AJ would dismantle Ortiz a lot quicker than Wilder, Wilder was very, very lucky he was not stopped.

The division is incredibly weak. Full of overrated fighters with limited skills. I’d still say AJ is #1 based on resume, it’s close though.
