I honestly don't think that Wilder would be able to make cruiser weight without having to be severely weight drained. But assuming he could and at the same time be able to retain his power and sense then I would see the fights playing out this way.

Don't get me wrong Wilder can be outboxed but Usyk would have to stay on his toes and box a perfect fight against a taller longer man. Add on to that they are opposite stances and I'd say that Wilder likely catches him at some point. As far as Gassiev goes, in my opinion he would have to straight up catch Wilder with something that puts him out and it would have to be early.

he's so far from being an all-time anything at this point it just seems silly to try to map it out. He would at least need to become *the* hw champion and reign for a few years. Usyk would be a good flagship win to have on there though.

People seem to make out these cruisers don't have any power at heavyweight but they are still big guys, he'd be catching wilder clean all night.
        Whaaaaaaaahahahahahaha

Was Ortiz gassed in the 5th? Cause wilder caught him square and dropped him. Usyk would not be able to take that punch

The bitterness and butt hurt is strong with drama show about wilder. Fool just said usyk would outbox and beat wilder? Hahahaha right hand bomb and usyk leaves the ring early on a stretcher. And to answer the op. No. It does absolutely nothing for a top heavyweight like Wilder to fight a Cruiserweight unless the Cruiserweight has had a few fights against top contenders at heavyweight proving his worth for the title shot otherwise it means absolutely nothing to his legacy to starch out a usyk in 2 rounds.

Could he make cw at 6’7? Would it be more impressive if Usyk moved up and challenged for the hw title?

does it look like he could make 200 lbs to you?

No doubt another skin pigmentation conclusion on your part. Usyk flat out doesn't have the punching power to keep Wilder off him. Easy work for Wilder, KO inside of 4 rounds.
