Better chin? Wilder or Joshua?

What a bunch of crock. I presented a single point of reference for both fighters. Whether you consider Jennings world class or not is irrelevant. As a matter of fact, the fact that Klishtko wasn't able to take out a lesser than world class fighter that Ortiz completely destroyed supports my evidence even more. The evidence points to Klitschko being the bigger puncher. Until such time Ortiz proves it against someone world class, who hasn't shown to be shaky before (like Wilder and Joshua), then your argument is simply fantasy, applying your own personal logic that others may not agree with..Comment

Chins don’t matter when you and opponent are this big..
One flush shot from either Joshua or wilder will end most fighters, except Oliver McCallComment

I think AJ has the better chin but both guys have good chins. The Klitschko shot that dropped AJ was monster straight right with all his force and body applied. The Ortiz shot that hurt Wilder was a quick short hook. Wilder did good by not going down but he had to hold for dear life and the ropes kept him up so many times.
What's more worrying is Wilder's recovery time, its pretty bad. After taking that Ortiz hook Wilder was gone, he was literally one shot away from being stopped.. I actually thought the ref would stop it as he wasn't throwing anything back. The next round the ref gave Wilder some extra time before the round even started but yet for the whole round his legs were drunk and gone and he could have been stopped had Ortiz not gassed. Wilder needed a whole round to get his legs back under him.
Compare that to AJ. After being dropped he got back up and his legs came back straight away and he started throwing punches back.. He was gassed out but despite that his recovery time from being hurt was really good.
Both guys have decent chins but they both have enough power to shatter each others chins. In that fight it is literally who lands first.Last edited by NahMean; 03-04-2018, 06:55 PM.Comment
