Idk. I don't think we have enough evidence to say with much authority. And I don't see this mattering all that much in them fighting each other so it seems like it'll be a topic that gets discussed more & more as they get closer to fighting, but ultimately I don't see it making a difference in the outcome of their fight.

I do think Wilder avoids shots better with his movement & avoids the full brunt of a shot more than Joshua does, but that really doesn't have much to do with taking a shot better merely avoiding taking a shot (or the full impact) more often. Joshua seems to get hit solider when he's hit.

Certainly Joshua has shown an ability to comeback beyond Wilder with that Klitschko fight, but then again lets not ignore Klitschko made a decision to not step on the gas in his overly careful approach to boxing that had done him so well in the past but backfired on him that one time.

      They're even.

AJ took a lot of punishment in round 5 and got dropped in the next round, but that right cross by Wlad would've knocked down any heavyweight, including Wilder and Ortiz. It was a great shot.

Wilder on the other hand didn't get kd vs Ortiz but he was visibly hurt and not only in this fight. Molina and duhapus stunned him too. Plus he was knocked down by sconiers earlier in his career.

Klit couldn't put down Jennings once. Ortiz blew out Jennings.

        Ortiz > Klit

        Deontay's chin > Joshua's

I think the body punches Ortiz put on him during that flurry in the seventh were critical.
Wilder recovered middle of the eight though.
AJ hit the floor against a shot Klitschko
That's true. When I saw Ortiz going to the body I was thinking that Wilder was done for.

To be fair, I think it may be a wash. Both have been dropped and both have been staggered. Joshua is better at reacting to getting hit though.

neither has a great chin, id say equal so i cant vote for one over the other.. but is amusing how last night is considered evidence of wilder having some great chin, he was very close to being stopped, the bell came at the right time and took him 3 minutes to recover. surely proof of a great chin would be if he hadnt been wobbled in the first place?

I think it's premature to judge either Joshua or Wilder at this stage. It's still too early. We'll have a much clearer picture in another 2 to 5 years. Maybe a lot sooner if they're total frauds. So far, I think both of them appear to have decent beards.

Joshua has a more sturdy chin imo.

However, both have weaknesses and both have massive hearts.
What punches exactly did AJ continue to take against Wlad? Be honest and objective for once. Wlad missed most of his follow up punches against AJ. AJ ducked quite a few. Wilder went 40 seconds against Ortiz who hit Wilder at least 20+ times and did not drop him despite obviously having Wilder almost out on his feet.

The guy has an iron chin, no doubt. The way he was still completely out of it a minute later.... the powers of recovery are spectacular.
Hey Annie bro just out of interest and going off your interesting escapades with boxers. Which eye did you rub? Was it the japseye and did wilder submit to the pole axing I'm sure you could provide. Hope your doing well and contented
