They always do it after the minute break is up as well.

Nothing fishy at all. The cornerman gets his minute to work on his fighter and the doctor inspects it after if need be. That�s how it is in NYC at least. Same happened at MSG during Bivol-Barrera and Kovalev-Mikhalkin. Doctor checked up after the break, never during.

He loooked at him for maybe 10 seconds and then they got back right to it.
Overblown and Had no effect on the outcome.
They gave Ortiz just as much time to recover and missed on of his knockdowns.

As stated, New York is a different beast, but Paulie was off. He thinks it's only when there's a cut, which is Vegas rules.

In New York, because of Abdusalomov, a ringside doctor has 100% independent authority to check whichever fighter at any time they choose. Most of the time it's only off of unanswered shots, which Wilder was taking that round.
