If the KO Didn’t Come, the Fix Was In!

All three judges had Wilder winning 85-84 before the end. You can’t make this shit up. Lol

The fight was very close, Ortiz was not landing much to Wilder's head, most of his work was to the body. They generally exchanged punches throughout the fight with Wilder landing the harder shots to the head.

        1-4: 10-10
        5: 10-8 Wilder
        6: 10-9 Wilder
        7: 10-9 Ortiz (10-8 Ortiz if you're a Cuban)
        8: 10-9 Ortiz
        9: 10-9 Wilder

If you think Ortiz deserved to be up big, you're basing that on the first 4 rounds where nothing of relevance happened. Stop it!

Shut up... no surprise you have Ward there.

Wilder had won only two rounds prior to the KO and that's why almost everyone posted in the round by round thread.

I don't see how you could honestly have Wilder up in that fight. I thought Ortiz was comfortably ahead. Good for Wilder to take it out of the judges hands. Would have been a shame to steal it away from Ortiz if it came to that.

The first 4 rounds could’ve gone either way and all 3 judges scored the fight 2-2 after 4. Ortiz was KO’d anyway and even if he continued it was a 10-7 round with Wilder ready to do some real damage.
