The Theater, Madison Square Garden, New York City - WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (32-2-1, 28 KOs) stopped Igor Mikhalkin (21-2, 9 KOs) in the seventh round. What hurt Mikhalkin in this contest was his lack of power.
