Joshua will close the distance quicker...pick him off with straight shots and finish him as soon as his straight right connects.....ortiz is ponderous compared with joshua and joshua ****s twice as hard and will seriously hurt wilder ....joshua will toy with him

I really do believe he makes easy work of Joshua and that’s because he is more fluid that AJ, who for me is too static. The only downfall I see with Wilder would be him falling in love with his power, like you pointed out he ignored his jab and did nothing for a lot of the rounds.

For someone that has a great right hand you would think he would establish his left jab first.
He was too respectful of Ortiz's left hand for a long time. I think he being down in my opinion helped him let loose. The fight against AJ will be easier. I agree too. Righty vs righty, less craftiness from AJ, more static AJ, etc. Bro, watching round 7, Wilder took punishment from Ortiz for 40 seconds and did not go down - he nearly did though. I am impressed with his chin.

He’ll need to pace himself, perhaps even when Wilder is hurt but the British refs will not give Wilder that much time if he gets hurt as badly as he was tonight. Respect to Wilder he came through a huge test his own way.
Pathetic excuse by another Naija AJ delusional fan. the fight against AJ will be a lot easier. Hope you are here to admit Wilder is the best in the HW when he whoops your boy.

I'd pick Joshua inside 3 rounds and a I think Joshua would have KO'd old man Ortiz within 5-6 but his chin and lack of defense would make it interesting. Wilder IMO is trash but has an eraser. I think Parker and especially Fury would be firmer picks based on style. I'd give Wilder next to no chance against either. He has a punchers chance against Joshua.

Ortiz couldn't so much as put Wilder down tonight. However, yet a 41 year old Wladimir Klitschko put Anthony Joshua down and had him hurt for several rounds but couldn't finish him due to age.

If that was the "Bronze Bomber" AJ would have been history. Look at all the shots Deontay ate tonight and yet he still came back and scored a come from behind knockout victory.

You're dreaming and sound very bitter because your guy lost tonight. Give credit where credit is due and give Deontay Wilder his moment. He was sick with the flu tonight and still came from behind to win by way of knockout victory.

If they fight this year Wilder will stop him and knock him out, Joshua lacks a defense and stamina. That chin of his won't be hard for Deontay to find.

If Wlad was able to locate that chin of his and put him down. Then trust me, Deontay would go one further; By locating that chin and keeping him down!

Bitter? My guy? I'm not remotely an Ortiz fan. I picked Wilder by KO inside 4 or by 12-0 shut out. I had 0 expectations for the fight and am happy it was good.

Stop making excuses for Wilder's poor performance. He was trash against a relic.
