I was impressed by the Ortiz reflexes, but he couldn't finish Wilder out and got ****** there at the end even tho apparently he would have lost on the cards anyway even if he kept it up. Wilder never gave up and didn't get completely broken that's why he won that fight pure will and power.

Ortiz, the fighter every naysayer thought was 50 years old, nothing if he wasn't juiced up, and was supposedly slow and worthless. So, according to YOU guys, Wilder beat another can. Woo hoo! I never thought Ortiz was a can, but you naysayers sure did!
There is still plenty of time for Ortiz to fail another drug test after this fight. Lets give it a few weeks before we say he fought clean. Still Ortiz fought a great fight he has nothing to be ashamed of. He would have beaten almost any other heavy weight tonight except Deontay.

Theres a reason boxing has weigh divisions and Spence Jr is nowhere ready for that leap against a good fighter. GGG cant stop Canelo but 147 pound Spence Jr is suppose too??? LOL
Bruh What in the *** are you talking about?!

Who said anything about Canelo or Spence?

This is Wilder's nite, he proved himself a real solid champion!

A long time coming but some no fault of his own!

Ortiz is more skilled, polished and way more entertaining to watch than Klinchko. nobody misses watching a mofo that spent almost a decade clinching and putting fans to sleep.

Still, Ortiz was 38 and rumored to be older than that. When there's a fight with a champion in his prime (e.g. Wilder) vs. a very, very good and dangerous veteran past his prime, it is always expected that the young blood MUST KO or at least defeat clearly the older lion.

So did Joshua vs. Klitschko. And both younger, prime fighters, had to fight at home and suffered a lot to win.

Will any of the two have the GUTS (most specially Wilder, because he is the BIG MOUTH that says he's even better than Mike Tyson ever was, yeah, right) to fight a big fight outside home?

It's time for big-mouth Wilder to challenge Joshua in the UK. Put the money where his mouth is.

And if he wins, then challenge Tyson Fury in the UK again. If Tyson is in top shape, I think he would box circles around Wilder and make him look like a fool, but it is just a hunch.

Right, thats why at 38 soon to be 39 Ortiz hasn't won a single piece of the world title, meanwhile Klitschko by the time he turned 39 unified the heavyweight championship and reigned for 10 years.

Again, I advise that you lay off the crack.

That'd be a mistake, though, tbh. The best possible Deontay Wilder, if folks think about it, would be a 'heavyweight Mark Breland'; hard snappy jab, deadly right hand, effective fighting the inside, control of defensive range, etc. Breland had his holes, but I can't think of a better coach to max out on the tools that Deontay has.

                    Some pairings just fit
