statistically I'd rather get dunked on than sent to heaven with a straight right hand.

boxing is a cruel sport. its the closest you'll get to the gladiators.

the main objective in the sport is to inflict as much brain damage as possible on your opponent. you can word it any other way u want that's what it boils down to. the human brain is not supposed to bounce around in the skull and thats what happens with a punch.

if you had a son as a boxer. would you want him to emulate brandon rios or pernell whitaker?

"Fight like a man" vs sweet science.

these boxers know they risk dying yet its a sacrifice they take for the love of boxing and to make money.

banning boxing is like banning ********s. you'll just make it less safe and cause even more deaths.

but what boxing needs to do is when a boxer suffers a brain injury like the Gman they need to help take care of these fighters. all these fans that scream for blood are nowhere to be found when that fighter turns into a vegetable.

but concerning boxing, it's true that the UK ist taking a much safer approach and stop fights prematurely more often than not.
it's completely ruining our nation--pragmatism has been completely lost.
