Oritiz is a fat 38 year old whose professional resume is attrocious, the last guy he fought is 16-5-1 and he was on sterioids to beat these cab drivers. This Ortiz is inferior to an inactive 41 year old Wladimir. Atleast wladimir didnt show up looking like a fat ass and had a highly respected professional career.

People pretending Wlad didn't get blasted out by Purrity, Sanders, and Brewster. Pretending his main skill isn't holding/laying on top of opponents. Pretending he didn't get practically shut out vs Fury, pretending he didn't lose to a 3rd year pro in Joshua lmaaaooooo.
lmao. all credibility is lost.Comment

It isn't that wild of a claim. Wlad was a long standing champ, but also had a weak chin and was a boring, repetitive boxer who dominated an extremely weak HW pool. Now that he's retired suddenly we act like he was this monster champ who was a world beater, yet before Joshua everyone hated watching Clinchko matches.Comment

It was largely due to the fact that he was a dirty fighter. The officials allowed Wlad to hold too much without so much as deducting a point or even disqualifying him. There were many times, that he should have been disqualified but wasn't because he was white and able to get away with it.
Had that been Deontay Wilder fighting like that he would have lost his titles a long time ago by way of disqualification. As I've stated earlier in the "Why all the unjustified hatred of Deontay Wilder" thread. It stems from the fact that he is black and because the boxing has a tendency of raising the bar when it comes to Black American fighters in particular and Black American athletes in general.Comment
