Loma by Wide UD. Lets be honest, Valero was talented but only when matched with a certain type of fighter.

People actually picking Valero because of his mythical status. Hilarious. Loma would have toyed with him and possibly make him quit.

Pretty sure you said the same of Linares, no?

Lomachenko would box circles around the eternally overrated Valero.

This is the equivalence of people thinking Ike Ibeabuchi would have beaten Lennox Lewis or Wlad Klitschko. Ike was another fighter like Valero that people overrate heavily because of his mythical unbeatable status.

Valero was the type of talent that comes along once in a generation. He'd be p4p number 1 if he was still around

I think Ibeabuchi was better and more proven and with Heavyweight being a bit weaker he would likely have been very good for some time if he wasn't absolutely insane.

Valero could/would have fought Marquez and got countered to death or Pacquaio and been eaten alive.

Lomachenko would win by a wide decision. I wish Valero had lived so that Pacquiao would have beaten him up and put an end to the myth of Valero as some kind of elite fighter.

                      That's a bit unfair.

Ike Ibeabuchi went toe to toe with a prime David Tua and Chris Byrd, becoming the first to stop Chris Byrd, and also beat both.

David Tua, Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko, Evander Holyfield--- nobody stopped Chris Byrd when he was undefeated/or in his prime like Ibeabuchi did.

Ike Ibeabuchi was a proven heavyweight, and would have given Lewis and Wladimir a tough challenge back in the day. As we have seen before, lesser fighters can beat the best at heavyweight (which rings true for both Lewis and Wladimir).
