I've been lurking on here for a long time and rarely post.
I recognise that people support fighters for a variety of legitimate reasons. First and foremost, they are fans of the sport. Maybe they like their fighting syle? Maybe they like how they conduct themselves? Maybe they are from their home/origin country. Maybe they are the same race/background; or maybe they just like them.
Fair enough.
What I don't understand is why some of you argue to the point of swearing at each others races and families, just to support a fighter who probably wouldn't pi$$ on you if you were on fire?
Is it simply because such people are so prejudiced that they use boxing (and anything else) to spread their views?
Why can't we just all enjoy the sport as it was intended - sport is meant to bring all peoples together?
Finally, just bear in mind, again, even your most favourite fighter really doesn't give a **** about you or what you think! (keep that in mind when posting as if they are your long-lost brother or father!)
