There is a difference between haters and critics, critics will show at least some respect depending on how the fight goes.

Haters are going to hate and will find a reason to, a critic may bring up the same reason and use it as a factors to dole out credit but will still give something while a hater will use the reason as a club to beat any credit being given to death.

It cool either way though it make being a fan of his all the more entertaining and enjoyable, and people who don't like him will likely get what they want in the end because that is how all offensive heavies go out.

Every boxer has harsh critics who will never admit a fighter they hate is better than they think no matter what they do in the ring. Wilder has more than most, though when looking at why that is Dibella, Finkel and Haymon's are at fault, so it's kind of hypocritical of Dibella to highlight this when this is a situation of his own creation having protected Wilder and their investment by facing Wilder off against sub par opposition for so long.

But a Wilder win will show every rational boxing fan that Wilder is world class and a genuine threat. It's been a long time coming and hopefully we finally get to see how good or bad Wilder really is.
