Oh sh^t didn't know all that. Interesting.

I always just think about who the US networks work with & forget that Sky are major players themselves across the pond.

Are there any other US guys who are broadcast on Sky all the time?

Klichko has run the heavyweight scene for a decade and he was also in the top 30th highest paid athletes in all sports during his reign and he is massively popular around the world.

There no ifs or buts, Wilder has everything to be a star but the fact is he's not even close to what he should be both financially and popularity wise.

And welterweights were making more money than him and were more popular then him.

Which is why the criticism of Wilder being less popular than a welterweight is pretty silly when every heavyweight has been less popular than a welterweight for decades now.

Floyd and Manny are more popular than every fighter including all the heavyweights in history minus maybe Ali so compare them is silly.

The current WW's aren't even popular so for Wilder to be less popular than them isn't a good look.. Regardless, heavyweights have always been popular even if they weren't as popular as WW's, Klitschko still sold out stadiums and got paid tens of millions per fight.

Don't tell me Wilder's been promoted right. It's a shame he signed with Haymon.

Eddie Hearn now has to take matters into his own hands and fund a documentary about Wilder to sell a future fight with AJ. That's pathetic.

And? Nobody is saying Wilder is the most popular boxer in the world. What I'm saying is that he's one of the most popular boxers in the US. Clearly Canelo and GGG are at the top. But after that. Wilder is pretty high up there.

I agree it's silly. It was very silly to criticize Wilder for being less popular than a welterweight when welterweight has been the most popular weight class for decades.

Even Gervonta Davis has more followers than Wilder.
