Kovalev was robbed in fight 1 of a well earned victory

In fight two he was screwed over by clear low blows . The ref somehow didnt even count if he felt it was a clean knockdown , he stopped the fight on a body shot. He later admitted they were low blows.

Some people can be unbiased about things.

Fact is north american fighters continue to get favortism over south americans and asians as well as european fighters.

If the same things were happening to urban or african american/north american fighters in europe or asia , there would be an outcry.

All the north american marketable fighter has to do is last all 12 rounds to get a controversial decision win or draw at worst.

at least he admits that ward beat him mentally in the second fight. and yes the final shot was low when kovalev was already bent over. try landing a solid body punch to a guy that is bent over. there should have been a break warning for low blow, warning for bendng over at the waste.

For ****’s sake the boxing media is losing their minds. I saw the interview where he said that and it’s because the media keeps on asking him the damn questions about Ward. Kovalev is not the one bringing up Ward, and he didn’t even put any emphasis on it. He was asked, and he said when he fought Ward, he also had to fight the referee, judges and corruption. And then moved on to other questions. He wasn’t even emtional.

But the Boxing media is always the ones asking him these questions and then making BREAKING NEWS! type articles about it...
