His last fight sold over 1.5 million ppvs in America while doing 40 million views on mexican live television. He has made more than 100 million dollars in boxing at the age of 27 meanwhile guys like Charlo (same age as Canelo) are barley touching their first 1 million dollars. Put some Respect on his name.

Canelo is the #1 Boxing Attraction Today !!!
Canelo is the Prince of boxing and then cash cow.And Oscar Dela Hoya is the King of Boxing

I am a big Canelo fan and have been one since the first time I saw him fight. He is a skillful exciting boxer and very dedicated to his craft. He is a good kind person outside of the ring. I like that.

I always though being the best middleweight in the world was a challenge. It was challenge enough for Robinson, Hopkins, Hagler, Zale and Monzon. GGG still has his belts and he might still have them come May 6th.

Which country has the second largest spanish speaking population after Mexico?

            Estados Unidos.

The states have more spanish speakers than spain ffs, plus mexicans love boxing, whereas pro boxing is banned in cuba, and not followed as closely in south america.

A better (and objective) thread topic would be:

What fighter has become the biggest star relative to their background, built in fan base, and their circumstances?

He is the only real superstar in boxing today.

I guess you have to ask is boxing declining in popularity within the last 4-5 years? There arent any big stars. We used to have guys like DLH, mosley, cotto, pac, floyd who could all draw good numbers.

Canelo is the only big draw. Then maybe AJ could be considered big in the UK. wilder-AJ-Fury fighting each other would be the only thing big outside of canelo and thats only because of UK fans.
