Y'all underestimating how popular CANELO is....

    Especially in the Southwest USA.

He is sponsored by HEB supermarket, Tecate beer, Under Armour. Canelo has been on Fox Sports, ESPN, Univision, Telemundo, Tv Azteca, Televisa, and all over the hispanic radio all to promote his next fight. His last fight sold over 1.5 million ppvs in America while doing 40 million views on mexican live television. He has made more than 100 million dollars in boxing at the age of 27 meanwhile guys like Charlo (same age as Canelo) are barley touching their first 1 million dollars. Put some Respect on his name.

Canelo is the #1 Boxing Attraction Today !!!

I have not heard anyone say Canelo is NOT the most popular ACTIVE fighter in the world. Now Joshua if he mans up and fights and beats Wilder NEXT then it might be him. There might be a few misguided fans who think Joshua is NOW because he can draw 90 thou but if Canelo fought at where Chavez fought Haugen he could put 120 easy I bet.Id love to make 10%of what either makes.

This one stands out for me because if GGG was given the correct decision I would have won last year's pick 'em league. RockyB had chosen Canelo.

Ouch that hurts.I had it 7-4-1 GGG but COULD see 6-6 thru 8-4 GGG.But to get to 6-6 you gotta give EVERY close round to Canelo.Thats why I put out the idea about the rule change to 20-7-3 because of the judges. Now others will say that's part of the game knowing that but sometimes it don't make sence (Pac v Bradley).

I don't know anyone who's underestimated how popular Canelo is. He keep getting gift decisions so that should tell you a lot.

Yea I think a sizable enough pool of people do underestimate how big Canelo is. And how young he's gotten this popular which I think is unusual. Outside of Tyson I'm not sure there has been anyone this big this fast in boxing in a long time & Tyson was a long enough time ago now.

I am one of the people who does not care about fighters popularity. It's all about what you can do in the ring.
