The FOX shows have a much smaller budget than the CBS shows.

FOX has quarterly shows that are supposed to feel bigger than an FS1 show, but not as big as a Showtime show.

CBS is committed to one big show a year and this year it was supposed to be Wilder vs. Ortiz, but in the end, CBS decided that a match that was delayed due to a drug test failure wasn't the best fit for their image.

I don't know if there will be a CBS show later in the year or if CBS is just going to skip this year. They own Showtime, so moving a fight from CBS to Showtime or vice versa can be a fluid situation sometimes.

If these two are truly fighting on the same level field then it is going come down to the man who have the most left in the gas tank and that is Deontay Wilder.

He is the faster, more athletic and younger of the two fighters. All Deontay has to do is to make this a very fast paced fight by tiring the old man out quickly by working behind the jab.

If Ortiz is indeed clean and not on that shlt; Then Wilder should stop him under four rounds.

Luis has had that condition for several years now. Old pictures have been posted to prove that. What gets me is the glove on his right hand. Sixty degrees is cold? I don’t think so, but who wears a glove on just one hand if they feel the weather is cold? Very strange.
Blood pressure meds can thin out your blood ,making the cold less tolerable . Hes also from Florida . I know old ppl from there who are on meds and think 70 degrees is cold ,so not strange at all.

Yep, even at the SHO "up front" event where they unveiled their schedule with all of the fighters there, they still wouldn't list a network for the Wilder fight. That press conference was originally supposed to be where the CBS announcement would be made, but CBS got cold feet. It's understandable. It's already hard to get mainstream sponsors to buy advertising on a boxing telecast. The PED taint on the fight had made some advertisers uneasy and then they ran out of time to get things done and the fight ended up on SHO.
