GGG definitely got tagged by Canelo and he definitely felt the punches. I think GGG has to do more to win the rematch than Canelo has to. GGG has to be more cerebral this time around while Canelo just has to throw more punches and fight more. I don't see GGG being able to change much at his advanced age but he has to change something to win the rematch IMO

Seems like Canelo knows what he did wrong and knows what he needs to do to adjust whereas Golovkin seems to think he didn't do anything wrong and is going to fight exactly the same.

Canelo tried to emulate Floyd, horribly I must add because he was pretty gassed throughout the middle rounds, he just had an opponent that didn't capitalize on it and was happy to jba him and try to hook off on him. What bothers me with the fans though is they don't let people fight their styles, it's ok to be critical that you didn't get what they promised but we aren't the ones taking the punishment.

Do you think GGG forgot to go to the body? Or, did he make a tactical decision not to go the body because Canelo was countering him so effectively upstairs? It’s kinda basic boxing. If you can’t avoid being countered when you throw upstairs. You’re damn sure not gonna be able to avoid counters if you throw downstairs.

While analyzing his fight, I wonder if Canelo realizes that he threw 200 less punches than ggg did. Or that he landed 50 less punches than ggg did. Or, if by comparison he realizes that he threw 100 more punches over 12 rounds vs Chavez jr than he did vs ggg. So which of the 2 was really more hesitant to take chances??

Canelo would have won the fight if he was more active. When he threw he landed the more effective better shots, he just didnt throw enough. GGG pushed the pace and canelo gave some rounds away by just not throwing enough.

Nelo is confusing me in saying GGG didn't take risks? Didn't GGG throw more punches? Throwing punches means taking risks doesn't it? Did Nelo take more risks? Boxing is only using hands yet people can see different things? Theres no ninja s*it going on.
And Nelo hurt GGG more? Im sure Nelo hurt Floyd more than Floyd hurt him. But Floyd landed more tip tap punches. GGG landed more tip tap punches than Nelos bazookas.
