Comments Thread For: Artur Beterbiev Heading To Top Rank, May Fight on April 19

Big wind of change is coming for the career of Artur Beterbiev (12-0, 12 KOs), who holds the IBF world light heavyweight championship. TVA Sports has revealed that the boxer has signed a promotional agreement with Top Rank. His decision to go with Top Rank is no surprise. Top Rank took part, and won, the purse bid for Beterbiev's last bout, which took place on November 11 against Enrico Koelling. Top Rank showcased that fight on ESPN and staged it at the Save Mart Arena in Fresno, California.

smart move. Soon enough Gvozdyk will lift that belt off jack or Stevenson and Beterbiev can have a unification clash

Hopefully this works out for Beterbiev. GYM has been f#cking up this dudes career for the last couple years while babying Stevenson when he shoulda been having Stevenson vs Beterbiev. Those mfers mighta could have a trilogy together themselves...f#ck Kovalev. ****** promoters.

smart move to gamble your won career on gvozdyk who got dropped by karpency and was getting hit with damn near every shot chilemba threw?

this is the dumbest fuggin comment in a minute...he is 33 and u're telling him to gamble on a dude younger than him getting a belt lol
as if he has years to waste...

the wbc, arum, and haymon could easily screw up the stevenson/jack vs gvozdyk mandatory thing..

Oh great, a more fractured division. I can't keep up with all the promoters and agents, managers and who's signed with which media outlet.

And there's news of Dana White making a move. All I know is it appears fighters signed with Al Haymon and PBC are the most inactive.

Having ESPN move into the PPV market will only make things more difficult, coupled with online media streaming services. I wonder where boxing will be in ten, twenty years?

They won't screw it up and didn't Stevenson get dropped by Fonfara? It happens. Gvozdyk is 30 years himself. Stevenson never wanted to fight Beterbiev or Gvozdyk anyway but Sulaiman already laid down the law.

Jack/Stevenson winner vs Gvozdyk and the winner of that fight vs Alvarvez. We have plenty of good fights lined up
