De La Hoya has the biggest star in boxing even though he has the least talent on his roster. So yes he doing a good job. Canelo probably earns more than the whole PBC roster combine. He ears more than Top Rank whole roster.

Why you say he's got the least talent on his roster?
He's got the third most talented roster behind Top Rank and PBC.
Definitely ahead of Main Events and Mayweather promotions.
He's got a few prospects that are gonna be a force to reckon with in a few years like Diego de la Hoya, Vergil Ortiz, Ryan Garcia, and JoJo Diaz to name a few....
Golden Boy promotions are definitely in a good spot right now..
