Bunch of salty Ward ball lickers in here.

Ward retired but will probably come back later like the attention whore that he is, à la Floyd.

Kovalev keeps on fighting. Fought for barely any money, but always fought for respect.

Many saw him winning, but I had Ward up a couple of points in the first. And I was rooting for Kovalev, mind you.

the last 3 punches the first one wasn't low and Kovalev bent over from it, it's hard to punch someone to the body when they are bent over like that. final one was low the one before was borderline. Kovalevs trunks were overly high. the arthur abraham trick. I hate how this seems to negate the fact that Kovalev had gassed badly 2 rounds prior and was losing the fight and was hurt upstairs and had nothing on his punches anymore. The stoppage was weird but a DQ??? would have been dumb. the ref should have broke it up and said "that last one was low keep em up? and then turn to kovalev and say "you were bending over at thee waist that's why he hit you low"

you are not allowed to bend over at the waist like that, it's viewed similar to turning your head and being rabbit punched. and if anyone says "the punches were low before he bent over"
I suppose the Earth is flat too?

Not sure if i like Kovalav or Stevenson less. Generally depends on who opens their mouth first. Either way their souls belong to Ward now.

Body shots and in fighting are still his weaknesses. If not corrected then he can be knocked out again.

Kovalev outboxed Ward in first fight but lost due to an inhouse judges. Second fight Reff stopped the fight while Kovalev was getting hit in the balls, no point deduction no ko countdown. Funny how ward went to retirnment right after to cycle off the peds. Ward easily will be beaten by Kovalev on the neutral ground. PERIOD

When a boxer is sitting on the ropes groaning helplessly, unable to defend himself, it’s the referee’s job to protect that fighter from further damage. Technically he’ consider ktfo, aka TKO. REF101 aka lol.

Kovalev will own the LHW division again. Mark it.
