And boxing has four leagues. So when a boxer doesn't like the rules, they go compete in a different league. This is why boxing needs a monopoly like all the other major sports.

Why would I care what the nationality of the biggest star is? You're not making any sense.
Well when Boxing gets together and falls under one league then things will change. Till then just STFU and quit comparing basketball with Boxing.
Your making yourself look like a damn fool saying that.

I have repeatedly posted that my preference is for all of the orgs to go bankrupt and for a UFC style league to emerge, at least in the US. Just because I try to offer some insight on why things are the way they are doesn't mean I'm happy about the way things are.

Even if there was 1 org that org doesn't have the power to force fighters to fight. Sure it can strip them but can't prevent them fighting someone else.
And nothing prevents Lebron from leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers this Summer to join the New Zealand Breakers.

But when you have one org that is so far above the others in prestige, it becomes the only place to make the biggest money. And therefore, athletes are reluctant to leave, because they can't make similar money anywhere else.

Very well said. Id bet most ppl didn't know about the contract wich helped Alvarez's position against the WBC.

As far as Canelo promising to fight Triple g in writing well nobody has ever heard of it till now. And we all know you're a Canelo hater so we can't believe anything you say!
Where's the proof Canelo promised in writing to fight Triple g after the Khan fight?? I wanna see the contract!
Plus he was starting a trial that same week. And the trial was not ONLY about money but who was his rightful promotor. No one would sign contracts with that all going on.

I've provided ample evidence that GGG was paid a step-aside for the Khan fight. If you prefer to remain in denial, that is your choice. Take care.
It takes two to do a step aside. One to pay and the OTHER to accept...

I think hes too ****** to figure that one out on his own. Thanks for pointing him the way. Lets not forget BOTH GGG AND Canelo past at least 6 Vada RANDOM BLOOD and urine tests last time.

Exactly! But too many ******s won't admit that even though they know the facts.

My take is the trial was the reason for dropping the WBC. Because again he was getting sued also for his promotional rights.

The Smith fight was to become to become Saunders mandatory. That way he could either figgt GGG or Saunders if GGG wanted to much $$$.

At the time I was like WTF??? But then I told why and was like DAMN!!! That was Checkmate!!! He either got GGG or he took the Saunders fight away from GGG...
